The Opportunity

Whilst the position of Senior Full Stack Engineer is 100% remote, you will not be alone. You will be joining a small but growing team split between London/UK and Nairobi/Kenya and you will have the chance to meet the local team in person for monthly socials.

Responsibilities:

As the Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve current applications and services
• Develop new user-facing features
• Write well-designed, efficient code, both on the backend and frontend
• Striking a balance between functionalities, user experience and aesthetics
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience working as a Full Stack Developer after graduation
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture
• Strong experience in Javascript, TypeScript, NodeJS, Angular
• Strong experience with Relational Databases (Postgres, MySQL) and MongoDB
• Strong Experience with AWS Lambda and Serverless solution
• Experience with Team City, Jenkins, Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• Experience with BackboneJS
• Familiarity with Docker, Terraform and DevOps paradigms
• Interest and knowledge of the Financial Market
