We are seeking a Ruby-on-Rails developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Ruby on Rails and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our team of developers and designers. The Ruby-on-Rails Developer will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality code and be able to work collaboratively with other team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain projects using Ruby on Rails
• Collaborate with designers and other developers to build high-quality, responsive applications
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with standards
• Debug and troubleshoot issues that arise during development and deployment
• Collaborate with team members to identify and prioritize tasks
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
• Continuously improve our development processes and tools

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience using Ruby on Rails
• Solid understanding of software development principles and web application architecture
• Experience with building & consuming APIs
• Proficient with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience with unit testing
• Experience with source control (Git)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with Rails & containerization (Docker)
• Experience with GCP, AWS or other cloud platforms
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Minitest, RSpec
