You will do:

As the Ruby on Rails Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications using Ruby on Rails in Heroku in an international team. You will participate in the architecture, design, and implementation of these applications. You need to have extensive experience building web applications in Heroku or similar using Ruby on Rails.

Our team uses modern technologies like React.JS components on Front-end (with well-documented storybooks), and GraphQL as API served by Rails applications.

Developing and supporting multiple small to large-size ROR web applications and API services;

Develop intensely growing internal various products: Finance Portal and online support tools for our doctors;

Working with business owners to propose user experience solutions;
Following Ruby on Rails best practices, collaborate with teammates on code reviews;

Skills:

BS/MS degree or equivalent;
3+ years of overall software development experience, preferably secure, scalable web applications in Ruby on Rails, Java, and/or C#, .NET;
1+ years of proven experience with Ruby on Rail development in a Linux/Unix environment;
Expertise with Ruby on Rails architecture, cross-platform integration, and building scalable applications in heterogeneous environments;
PostgreSQL skills, API development;
Unit testing, Rspec;
Interpersonal, oral, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to present findings concisely and effectively;
Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, program management, and marketing about objectives, requirements, and design constraints;
English Speaking skills

Nice-to-haves:

Experience working on Agile / Scrum teams;
Git version control system;
Experience with the Heroku platform or AWS;
CI/CD tools like bamboo;
Newrelic/Airbrake/Logentries or other monitoring services that you use for debugging production issues;
Front-end stack (Webpack, React.js) knowledge will be a plus;
GraphQL experience;
Internationalization/Localization and Salesforce knowledge and experience are a strong plus;
Experience with Build Management, Software Configuration Management, Change Management, and Release Management activities;
Knowledge of User Experience design methodologies is a plus;
