We are seeking a resourceful and hands-on Mid-Level Backend Developer (C# or Python programming language) to join the growing development team.

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, resourceful and passionate about building great products and love being part of a team

Requirements

The Mid-Level Backend Developer role has the following requirements:

B.Sc or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or other relevant field
At least 3 years of proven working experience in C# or Python programming language is a must
Working knowledge of Scala and Java is an added advantage
Demonstrable experience using relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Experience with application deployment by using CI/CD.
Experience with container networking on Docker is a plus
Experience with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
Experience in designing and building Microservices is an added advantage
Understand replication, sharding, partitioning and load balancing
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Familiarity with distributed revision control systems such as Git.
Experience working as part of a team
Be responsible for ensuring that the product vision is realised through excellence in execution.
Follow standards and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met and consistent.
Pragmatic developer who actively avoids over-engineering solutions and understands how to maintain high-quality code in a delivery-focused environment.
An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
