Powered by People (PBP) is looking for a curious and collaborative Frontend Developer to join our growing Development team. You are passionate about technology and desire ownership in your work. WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Work with the Product team and Product Designer to refine scope and define goals and deliverables using Scrum
• Drive business expectations by assessing business problems, designing optimal solutions and driving implementation
• Work closely with a small team where you are clear on what you own
• You will contribute to all stages of development: testing, release, triage, bug fix, documentation, and product development and maintenance support
• Help technical team members, product managers, and business users to brainstorm minimal viable products (MVPs) to test the validity of new ideas
• Use synchronous and asynchronous communication to help drive coordination and alignment across your teams
• Support the Marker team to diagnose production bugs and share short and longer-term solutions

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• At least 1 year of professional experience
• Knowledge of B2C, ideally B2B eCommerce websites
• Able to move between designing for desktop and mobile functionality
• Working experience in Next.JS

• Well-versed in Web/Frontend technologies and frameworks like Spring MVC, Node.JS, React, Marko, HTML5, CSS3 with LESS or SASS, JavaScript, JSP, Ajax, and JQuery are required
• Create optimised CSS with LESS or SASS
• Created Styled components as part of a Storybook
• Strong understanding of Secure, RESTful web APIs
• Good communication skills in English – both written and spoken
