Job Purpose
We have an exciting short-term (3-6 months) opportunity for an ERP Business Analyst to join our Enterprise Solutions team. Reporting to the Head of Technology and Innovation the role holder will be responsible for providing detailed enterprise analysis, business requirements analysis, functional analysis and business process analysis for various business domains using data and tools to deliver change through the implementation of business and technology solutions for the organization.
Job Responsibilities
The ERP Business Analyst will be required to:
- Work with Business Units and Practice Areas to examine not only the business problem/need and its proposed business solution but also an in-depth look into whether the proposed solution is truly the best solution.
- Perform a detailed analysis of what a solution entails, its risks, and its feasibility in the organization.
- Lead Requirements Elicitation, Business Requirements Analysis, Business Solution Assessment and Validation, Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring, Requirements Management and Communication, Stakeholder Analysis, Business Rules Analysis, Data Analysis, and Business Modeling.
- Support project delivery by undertaking solution procurement, scope planning and approach for the activities related to business analysis for the IT Projects, monitor progress, coordinate with the Internal PM and report to Project Steering Committee on changes, risks, and issues wherever appropriate.
- Maintain a deep awareness of how business and technology operations work and help stakeholders explore technology-enabled solutions to support their roles more effectively.
- Lead stakeholder relationship management: Develop and maintain one or more defined communication channels and/or stakeholder groups, acting as a single point of contact. Facilitate business involvement and ownership of new/future business requirements; documentation and or review of requirements/user stories/use cases.
- Analyze business processes; identify alternative solutions, assesses feasibility, and recommend new approaches. Contribute to evaluating the factors that must be addressed in the business change program.
- Assist business users in identifying business problems, needs and functions, understand stakeholders’ concerns and requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute business input for developing the business case for the technology-enabled solutions.
Job Specifications Skill, Competencies and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics and/or Business-related fields from a recognized university.
- Professional Qualification in either Business Analysis, Project Management or Change Management: – CBAP/CCBA, CBPP, PMI-PBA, Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, Prince2, PMP, Prosci Change Practitioner, ITSM is a plus.
- Experience with ERP implementations and in particular Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience working with Practice Management Solutions in the professional services sector is desirable.
- Knowledge of the legal tech space is an added advantage.
- At least 5 years overall experience in a dynamic business environment encompassing at least 3 years of professional experience in Business Analysis & Project Management.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills with the ability to handle complex information with accuracy and attention to detail
