We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of our systems. You will work with a team of developers to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality code and be able to work collaboratively with other team members.

Responsibilities for the DevOps Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure
• Automate our deployment pipelines
• Collaborate with other developers to ensure our systems are scalable and reliable
• Write scripts to automate common tasks and improve system efficiency
• Monitor and troubleshoot our systems to ensure high availability and performance
• Ensure our systems meet security and compliance requirements
• Work with the team to identify and prioritize tasks
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and cloud infrastructure
• Continuously improve our development processes and tools

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or related role
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment automation
• Proficient in shell scripting and one or more programming languages such as Python or Ruby
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (Preferred), AWS or Azure
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Familiarity with source control (Git)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Automate our deployment pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI(preferred), Jenkins, or CircleCI

Desired Skills

• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Familiarity with log management tools such as ELK stack or Splunk
