We are looking for an exceptional collaborative Database Developer with at least 5 years of experience to join our team.

Required skills:

• Database Development and Architecture:

• Extensive experience in designing and architecting complex database systems.
• Proficiency in SQL, including writing advanced queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, normalization, and database design best practices.

• Working understanding of Snowflake architecture, features, and capabilities.
• Proficiency in Snowflake-specific SQL for data transformation and querying.
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) with a focus on database services like Amazon RDS, Redshift, and Snowflake on AWS.
• Ability to design and implement ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
• Proficiency in optimizing database and query performance, including indexing and query tuning.
• Understanding of data security best practices and experience implementing security measures in Snowflake and AWS to protect sensitive data.
• Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and experience ensuring data compliance.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or AWS
• CloudFormation to define and provision cloud resources.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation, data manipulation, and maintenance tasks.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams
• Effective leadership skills to lead the development team to achieve timely deliverables
