We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Scientist with experience in Rust, WebAssembly, and related technologies. As the Data Scientist, you will be required to leverage your strong collaboration skills and ability to extract valuable insights from highly complex data sets to ask the right questions and find the right answers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive analysis of raw data, including assessing quality, cleansing, and structuring it for downstream processing.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into innovative data science solutions.
• Develop and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms for data analysis and prediction.
• Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms that can handle large-scale datasets.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure smooth integration and deployment of analytical prototypes into production.
• Generate actionable insights from data analysis to drive business improvements and inform strategic decision-making.
• Leverage Rust, WebAssembly, and related technologies to build efficient, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
• Integrate with various technologies and frameworks to enable offline-first capabilities, real-time communication, and efficient data processing.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and intuitive interfaces for data visualization and user interaction.
• Document code, algorithms, methodologies, and findings for reproducibility, knowledge sharing, and future reference.

Qualifications:

The Data Scientist should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, and/or equivalent experience in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Proven track record with at least 5 years of experience in data science techniques, including machine learning, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
• Deep understanding of predictive modelling, machine learning algorithms, clustering, classification techniques, and model evaluation.
• Proficiency in a programming language such as Rust, Python, C, C++, Java, or SQL.
• Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and visualization tools, such as Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau, or similar technologies.
• Experience in developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms for data analysis and prediction.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with highly complex and large-scale datasets.
• Solid understanding of data cleansing, data preprocessing, and feature engineering techniques.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into data science solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to approach challenges with creativity and innovation.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work in an agile and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Experience documenting code, algorithms, methodologies, and findings for reproducibility, knowledge sharing, and future reference.
